Anshan University of Science and Technology

Formerly known as Anshan Iron and Steel Institute, it was founded in 1948 and is one of the earliest metallurgical universities established in my country. The college was established in 1958 and was affiliated to the former Ministry of Metallurgical Industry. In July 1998, it was placed under the management of Liaoning Province. In March 2002, it was renamed Anshan University of Science and Technology with the approval of the Ministry of Education.
