Changjiang Isolated Island - Xiaogushan

It was once a stone islet in the Yangtze River, formed during the Quaternary glacial period. Legend holds that Yu the Great tamed the floods here, and the stone commemorates his achievement; later, Qin Shi Huang, on his eastern tour, had the midstream anchor stone carved into the rock.
