Guangdong Yixueyuan
湛江市Founded in 1958 as a provincial key institution, it originated as the Zhanjiang branch of Sun Yat‑sen Medical College. In February 1964, with State Council approval, it was upgraded to a five‑year medical undergraduate college and renamed Zhanjiang Medical College. In September 1992, the Guangdong Provincial People's Government approved its renaming to Guangdong Medical College.
